Names, Contact Info on 6M TD Ameritrade Customers Compromised

TD Ameritrade disclosed to the public that confidential information, including "miscellaneous trading" information for potentially ALL of its more than 6 million customers was compromised via a hacked database.

An internal investigation revealed the presence of unauthorized code on a database containing confidential customer information; thus far, there is no evidence that the information was used for anything other than spamming those customers.
