Download Music, Share Bank Account Info for Free on P2P Networks
A study from Dartmouth College's Tuck School of Business presents data showing that P2P client software poses a great security risk to individuals and corporations alike with regards to users sharing confidential data unwittingly. Furthermore, a growing number of file searches over these P2P networks involve malicious hunts for confidential data files.
The study showed that approximately 80% of the leaked information came from "home users" with the other 20% of leaked information coming from computers or networks of bank employees and bank partners.
